Not sure the car park breakfast = great racing times ! Anyway on to tomorrow.

Ski MK Race Team where nominated for Club of the Year at the Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes LEAP.
Great to be nominated, but no lucky on the evening to win top prize.

Interesting to sit in on my first Annual General Meeting today – even I didn’t know everything that Ski MK Race Team had done over the last year and amazing goals for the next year.
After the AGM SMK held prize giving for the SMK Internal Race Series 2018/19. This years series comprised of 7 races – results can be found here
Congratulations to Matthew 2nd and Josh F 3rd, in the U16 category.

In the overall Male Gates Series I also managed a first place. (Laughing as didn’t realise my wake boarding shorts would be in the picture.

Thank you to SMK, all the volunteers, Trophy Too (for the trophies) and James at Drysure for the overall winners prizes.
Well done to my fellow SMK racers, Emily M (Stubbies Girl Overall Series Winner), Grant M (Stubbies Boy Overall Series Winner) and Emma T (Gates Female Overall Series Winner)

At the SMK AGM the Chair introduced a new Chair’s Award to recognise SMK Volunteers, and the inaugural Award was presented to Simon (who, amongst other things organises the coaches) and also to Mum, for her role as Membership Secretary – well done – as without the great volunteers and coaches, the Club wouldn’t operate.

Race 2 of the SMK Internal Race Series 2018-19 this morning. Earlier 07:30 start was a little shock, but we managed to get three runs for 50 SMK racers.
Finished 1st U16 with combined runtime of 29.20 seconds and fastest run overall ! Looking forward to Ace 3 on a Tuesday at the end of November.

First race of the five race SMK members only race series. Love being back on my “home” slope. Race 1 comprised of two runs on two slalom courses.
Smashed the two runs, ending with fastest U14 and overall combined time and fastest time on Run 2. Now to translate the confidence onto the mountains.
Thanks to all the helpers and coaches who make these internal races possible (and Phil D for the videos)
