25th June 2019 – NSSA Overall Series Winner Senior Boys

Thank you to National Schools Snowsports Association Organisers and volunteers for an amazing schools race series. Also thank you to Ski Club of Great Britain and Halsbury Travel for their support of the series

My Senior Boys 1st Overall Series Trophy arrived and has given me a great boost during my rehabilitation.

Despite missing the final race as in the operating theatre at the time of the race, my performances throughout the series placed me Joint 1st with U18 Mikey D and U16 Jacob B – well done!

Thank you to the supportive staff at Akeley Wood School and ISA Sport

29th April 2019 – ISA Indoor Ski Championships 2019

Reasonable 2nd run put me in 5th overall, and 1st Under 16 (and Under 16 ISA Champ).

Akeley Wood School A Team comprising Tom, Kayne, William and me, finished 2nd Male Team overall but 1st Place ISA School Male Team.

Great two runs from my Evo teammate Charlotte to win the U18 overall ,

Well done to everyone in the AWS B Team, with solid runs, and to my Ski MK Race Team, with medal winning performances from. Matthew, Kayne, Sam, Noah, Jacob and Toby.

Thanks to all the organisers and volunteers and Mr Tombs and staff at Akeley Wood School.

12th November 2018 – NSSA Indoor School Ski Championship

After three great (and consistent) runs on Sunday at the SMK Internal Race Series, I was hoping home advantage, the knowledge of snow conditions and slope profile, would help.

Racing with lots of SMK members and friends from other schools, it was great to be representing Akeley Wood School.

After a storming Run 1, I was placed 1st U16 and 3rd Overall Male (15:00 seconds), behind two very fast U18 racers.  With the snow conditionings becoming very icy, and final race results based on fastest run time of the twi runs, Run 2 was an all or nothing charge to try to improve on his overall position.

With the race based on fastest run, it was all or nothing Run 2, however I finished with a faster time of 14.63 seconds.

I finished 1st U16 but jumped from 3rd to 2nd overall, beaten only by a very good Manchester based Under 18 skier.

Well done to other SMK Racers, Jacob B, Matthew D, Miles E, Ben C, Alex K, Sam D, Amelie D and toTeam Evolution team mates Charlotte W and Niamh T.

Looking forward to representing Akeley Wood School at the ISA Indoor Ski Championship in April next year.

1st October 2018 – BISS National Schools Indoor Champs @SnozoneMK

Another day another race, this time as part of Akeley Wood Schoo, who entered a Team A and B.

Another ski off at the start in run 1 (20.65 seconds) left me with a lot to do in run 2, and with running near the end of a detonating course, smashed it into 2nd place overall and 2nd place behind Joseph.

Great skiing from all Akeley Wood Team A and B racers.  A U14 1st from Kayne and U18 7th from Tom gave Team A the BISS National Schools Indoor Male trophy.

30th September 2018 – ERSA Champs Indoor 2018

After a storming run 1, I could improve and Aiden and Joseph did.  Had to settle for 3rd place U16.  Well raced guys only 0.17 seconds separating us.

Thanks to all the ERSA and SMK officials and volunteers who made todays race possible.

Thanks to ERSA, SMK, Racer Ready and Snozone MK.

23rd September 2018 – 5th Lowland Champs, Snow Valley, Peer, Belgium

First training and racing at Snow Valley, Peer, Belgium.

Good 3 days of Team Evolution training followed by 5th Lowland Champs, as organised by the Belgiums.

(no official results posted yet but from times taken from Live Timing) Saturday, finished 45th = (with Aidan) overall, 11th = (with Aidan) U16 (with only two YOB 2004 ahead of me) – So happy as YOB 2004 3rd =

Sunday finished 44th overall, 12th U16 (pipped by Aidan by 0.31 over the two runs into 4th) with only three YOB 2004 ahead of me – Again very happy as YOB 2004 4th – but still lots of work to do.

Looking forward to next years 6th Lowlands, will be 2nd Year U16 and want to add to my previous Lowlands Podiums.
