Dad took a couple of pictures last night of my “amazing” first year of GBR Indoor U10’s Races. This has resulted in:
3x 1st Places in Slalom
1x 2nd Place in Slalom
1x 3rd Place in Slalom
1x 1st Place in Giant Slalom
Next year I move up to Under 12’s, so podium places will be harder to achieve, but I will try my best.
Great weekend of GBR Indoor races on Saturday and Sunday !
Saturday was Race 5 and a Giant Slalom races. In Race 5 I posted two great runs with a 16.90 in Run 1 and 16.97 in Run 2, which gave me 1st Place. Kayne finished 2nd. Sienna in the Under 12 Girls also got a 1st Place.
After the Slalom event, they held a Giant Slalom race, which also resulted in a 1st Place. So a great day of racing. We all then went to watch Monsters University !
Sunday, well that was another day !. Run 1 was an acrobatic run, and lucky to finish with a 18.78 seconds run! Run 2, I really went for it but missed a gate, so disqualified ! First run still resulted in 3rd Place. Well done to Kayne with a 1st place after a first run crash, and to Sienna who won the Under 12 Girls.
GBR Indoor Series Race 4 Under 10’s 2nd place and two completed runs ! Well done Kayne with a first place.

GBR Indoor Race 4 today, I am bib 37 and Kayne is bib 34. Think 5 U 10’s boys in today’s race.
Dad is down as Starter for today’s run.
Bit nervous but let go for it !

Race 3 today at Chill Factore Manchester. New location for me today so another new experience.

Race Entries for U12/U10’s
Despite wiping out on my first run I did manage to complete the course and record a time. Run 2 was the one that put me in 1st place. My first winning race – so chuffed!
