Great coffee and bacon sandwiches for all !
Worked hard to improve my slalom over the last year, still long way to go, but the aim to have consistency and reduce times is starting to come together.
Indoors in 2018 I entered 4 out of the 5 GBR Indoor Series races and gained sufficient points to finish the U16 GBR Indoor Series in 3rd position ! Not bad for a 1st year U16.
Well done to Robbie A and Joseph T !
Need to carry on pushing myself to try for a higher podium step next year.
Thanks to all those who have helped me on the Indoor Race circuit this Summer !

Thanks Neil @RacerReady
With the help & coaching from amazing people at @evolutionskiing, @SkiMKRaceTeam and @BatesBody_F , this is an individual sport that requires determination, hard work, dedication & hours of practice.

A Friday session at Chill Factore, Manchester before the GBR Indoor Races 4 & 5

Put down a reasonable Run 1 and a better Run 2.
Ended up 19th overall and 4th U16 (1st 2004). Need to hit that Run 1 better really delighted to finish both runs less than 1 second off U16 winner Robbie A !
Well done to Team Evolution and SkiMKRaceTeam racers today.
Thanks to all volunteers and officials who made the weekend possible,

Put down a great Run 1 but a slightly slow Run 2.
Ended up 14th overall and 3rd U16 (1st 2004). Overall happy but Run 2 was disappointing.
Well done to Team Evolution and SkiMKRaceTeam racers today

Great weekend – really enjoyed mixing it in my first year in the Under 16s.
Podiums and medals are great, but good to see all the hard work paying off with two sub top 15 places overall, fastest and second fastest in my YoB, closing gaps on the others (Race 2 Run 1 0.27seconds between 2nd & 6th on a course better for the bigger kids) and possibly knocked around 50 points off my iBarts – Good weekend (except the ear ache!)
Highlights (other than catching up with Team Evolution team mates and other friends, mastering a back flip with Will’s help and having a laugh) was how close the time gaps have become – just need to keep it going and working hard!

Thanks to GBR Race Series organiser and BSA sponsors and all volunteers.
Ski racing is a hard sport, just because you do well one day doesn’t mean that day 2 will be as good – but all the hard work on the slopes with Team Evolution and Ski MK Race Team and in the gym, had another storming day (despite not sleeping due to ear infection) – I was out to prove I could do it again.
Two very different course, Run1 more suited to the larger heavier skiers, but managed a 6th place (only 0.27 from 6th to 2nd). So looking forward to the technically more demanding course.
Nailed it with a fast (10th fastest overall I think) Run 2 – even matched Joseph’s run 2 time
Ended up 15th Overall (and 2nd fastest YOB 2004)
Well done to Robbie, Jack and Joseph (also well done to Josh, Kieran, Kayne and the amazing Emily !)
