First Club National at Ski MK Race Team @snozone since 2015 and what a great race.
Run 1, storming run over a technically set course pushed me into 6th position overall (2nd U16)
Run 2, Joseph T pipped me and pushed me into 3rd U16 and 7th overall. Well done to Tommy D in 1st U16.
Great afternoon’s racing @Snow Factor at the Hemel Club National.
Very tight racing, with 6 U16s finishing in the top 10, and I finished 6th but only 0.35seconds over the two runs off 1st U16 place.

It’s amazing how much work goes into organising and getting everything ready for a Club National.

Our house looks like a storeroom with timing equipment, officials stuff and trophies.

After two days training at Chill Factore with Ambition, today was the Ambition Club National, Slalom and Pro Slalom race.
Two solid runs in Slalom left me in 1st Place in the Under 16 ! and 7th overall !
The Pro Slalom I finished 2nd in U16s !
Amazing few days, and some great skiing by my Team Evolution and Ski MK Race Team buddies.
Tough race today against Kayne at the HSRC Club National. First run I posted 11:70, just in front of Kaynes 11:82. Run two with bibs reversed we both posted a 11:84.
Tight race but just pipped him to 1st place. Well done Kayne. Also well done to Evie U12 SMK Racer in her first race, finishing 9th.
Bib 33 for Saturday’s Club National.
After a great Saturday of racing at SnoZone Castleford, Sunday was the first Lions Club National.
A stronger field at the U12 level today, brought about a couple of tight times between me and my Evolution team mate Lucas.
Slalom Run 1 Lucas was in the lead, he got 14.49 and I got 14.50. I knew I could race faster as I had caught / crossed my skis on leaving the start gate.
So Run 2 and bibs in reverse order I ran first and with controlled aggression I posted a massively improved 14.14, and Lucas recorded a time of 14.54
So two wins out of two over two days on the Slalom. Good runs from Lucas !
Didn’t get the weekend all my own way on the Giant Slalom, after being pipped by Lucas over a combined two run time by 0.02seconds. Lucas’ first run doing all the damage as our run 2 times where identical.
Good weekend for SMK Racers, yesterday Podiums for Rebecca (great 1st), Maxine, Sarah and Zac. With SMK Racers Amanda, Maxine, Sarah and Zac today on podium places.
