Dave Ridings finished an amazing 16th in yesterdays FIS WC Men’s slalom at Madonna di Campiglio, Italy.  Not only a place better than his last WC slalom but his 2nd run was totally amazing and was the 2nd fastest of all the 2nd runs !

WELL DONE DAVE !! You are an inspiration to all the GBR young skiers !

Great FIS WC ski racing for the Men’s slalom at Madonna di Campiglio, Italy yesterday (watched it this morning on Eurosport).  Great to see my favourite skier (after the amazing Dave “Rocket” Ryding) Felix Neureuther (Ger) take an amazing top podium.

First term at Beachborough School has been amazing, selected for the Colts A Rugby Team for all eight matches against some very strong schools.  We have a large number of Form III playing our Form IV team so we are a little small in size but make up for it with power, skill and teamwork.  Think we won 6 out of 8 of the games, with losses against MCS and Ashfold (both of which fielded full Form IV players).

Played most of the matches at Inside Centre, a position I hadn’t played much at before but have really enjoyed it.

Captained the Team for two matches and awarded Man of the Match for one of the games.

My end of term report included the following comments from Mr Clark; “although he may not always take the glory role his efforts do not go unnoticed, indeed he was singled out by a visiting referee from Bloxham School for his performance against Maidwell Hall School”.
