Sorry playing catch up !
Monday was the last day of the Gravity Weekend Boot Camp at Landgraaf. It has been a great weekend of ski race training, thank you Glen and Ben !

The rest of the week we went to Brussels and Neiupoort on the Belgium coast, and also spent my birthday on the beach !

We also visited a few of the World War 1 Commonwealth Graves and also a German Cemetery, where over 60,000 German soldiers are buried – all very sad.
We also visited, Diksmuide in Belgium, where they have restored a WW1 trench, which was known as the Trench of Death. Later we stopped at the Essex Farm Cemetery, which is also the site of a field hospital where the Canadian John McCrae worked as a surgeon. McCrae is famous for his poem In Flanders Fields, which related the Poppy to the remembrance of WW1. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_Flanders_Fields

On the Saturday, our football team GHRC U10’s played in the GHFC Tournament, think we won 2, drew 3 and lost 2.
